A new board of the Rotary Club of Dominica will be installed this evening.
Businessman Robert Tonge will replace out-going President Marvlyn Bermingham as President.
The other members of the new board are Adler Hamlet – Vice President, Annie Edwards – Secretary, Clyde Edwards Treasurer, Marvlyn Bermingham – Immediate Past President and Marie-Jose’ Edwards – President Elect. A Sergeant-at-arms will be appointed later.
Committee Chairmen for the new year 2013-14 are Rotarian Armour Johnson – Service Projects, Past President Aurie Roberts – New Generation, Past President Gloria Tarvenier – Rotary Foundation, Past President Haynes Jacob – Membership, President-elect Marie Jose’ Edwards Public Relations and Rotarian Grayson Jr. – Club Administration.
The installation oath of office to the New President will be administered by Rotary Assistant Governor Monsignor Reggie Lafluer while the oath to the other members will be done by out- going President Marvlyn Bermingham. Addresses will be delivered by Rotary Out-going President Marvlyn and in-coming Rotary President Robbie.
The feature address will be delivered by General Manager of the National Bank of Dominica Mr. Michael Bird.
The installation ceremony will be attended by Rotarians, Rotaractors, Partners in Service and friends of Rotary.
The ceremony begins at 6:30 p.m. at the Fort Young Hotel.
